until the JUNE 1 so get those entries ready! We are getting birds
nearly everyday now so it looks like this will be our biggest race ever! Keep
them coming. Anyone looking for a great race, Try our race this year! You have
plenty of time. We do not fly until October!
Birds are coming in
quickly this year!!!! Don't pass up the best race in America!!!!!!!!
The birds are on lights and the 9th and 10th flights will be clipped and
later pulled. All birds that are here are doing great
and are very healthy. We will keep you updated and post a list of entries
soon. Just to clear things up, the entree fee is 3/800
all of which is paid out in prize money, NO CUTS. The perch fee for each bird
is $100.00. You can send a team of 3 birds
for a total 1100.00. That would be 3 complete paid birds. If you send a back
up then you only pay at this time the 100.00
perch fee on it. So you may send 4 birds for 1200.00 which pays you up on 3
entrees and perch fees, It pays the perch fee on your
backup bird until you see if you need to activate it before the 1st race. At
that time you will owe 300.00 activation race fee
or your backup will not go to the race. Thanks a lot to all of you who have
selected our race to enter this year and in years past.
We only strive to get better each year. If your birds are lost during the
settling process we will contact you at that time for
a replacement. We will take replacements up to June. Good Luck, lets have a

We have an exciting new format for 2008. We will be using the WinSpeed point
system for each race.
Birds will accumulate points by their trapping order . WinSpeed will total up
the points at the end of the series
to arrive at the Champion High point bird. We have also changed our distances
for this years race. We will
fly from 150 miles, 200 miles, 200 miles, and 300 miles. More payouts
will also be given. See the new
Ad below for 2008. We will also have the birds on the lighting system
and clip and pull the 9th and 10th flights.
We will accept 400 birds. Single entries are 300.00 each plus perch fee of
$100.00
You may send one backup for each 3 birds you enter with a 12 bird limit per

This race is handled by
experienced handlers who have lived in this area all their life. Randy
Goodpasture has over 30 years experience racing pigeons in Oklahoma. Good care, exercise and health are very important in having a
successful race. We know when anyone has a one loft race it is very important to
stay on top of problems.
We run one of best races in the U.S . Prompt payouts, good loft
management, experienced handlers and regular web site updates from the beginning
to end. That is what makes our
race so great! We also take a lot of the luck out of winning by flying a series
of 4 races. Join us
next year! Take part in a race where you know that your birds are being
handled and trained to the point where they can perform to the best of their
ability. Our race is flown from the North. This coarse is known to be one of the
toughest in Oklahoma. For that reason we try our best to condition the birds for
the task. If I had to answer the question of what is the average speed for this
coarse the answer would be somewhere around 1100-1300 YPM on most races. It
takes a really true champion to win this one!!! Come join us for a great

is Healthy Pigeons Blend?

Pigeons Blend was formulated by Bob Hambuchen as a way to improve the
health and performance of his own racing pigeons because, as we all
know.... Healthy birds win races! |
Healthy
Pigeons Blend is a combination of selected natural ingredients that have
the ability to protect our pigeons against the many harmful pathogens that
may be present in their daily environment. Some of the ingredients we use
also have the ability to help boost the bird’s immune system. This lets
the bird further protect itself against a number of diseases to which they
might be exposed. Then we add vitamins, minerals and trace minerals that
some of our feeds do not provide.
AND HOW DOES IT
WORK? Good question... let’s look:
Step
#1:
Our Healthy Pigeons Blend contains the product Bio-Mos®. This unique
ingredient has the ability to attract and to hold the harmful pathogens
that may enter into your bird’s system. The pathogen almost never has a
chance to attach to the birds digestive tract. Bio-Mos® also helps build
the bird’s immune system to protect against other infections and is also
rich in brewers yeast. (Bio-Mos® is registered trademark of Alltech Inc.)
Step
#2:
We use a Multi Strain Probiotics [8 or more] from at least two sources
including a fast-acting probiotic that rapidly fills the birds digestive
tract with friendly bacteria. Each pound of our probiotic ingredient
contains over 40 Billion CFUs. This volume of friendly and multi strain
bacteria in the birds gut simply denies these single-cell and harmful
pathogens a place to live and to grow.
Step
# 3:
HP Ammonia Guard. This is a multi-purpose ingredient derived from the
yucca plant that does 3 important things. First, it reduces ammonia in the
birds droppings. You will have less odor in and around the loft and far
more importantly, it reduces ammonia in the nest box. Excessive ammonia is
harmful to the young bird's eyes and to its respiratory system. With HP
Ammonia Guard you raise more healthy young birds. Good health from the
start should carry over into the bird's adult life. Next, this product
helps expel pathogens held by the Bio-Mos in the bird's digestive system.
Lastly, studies show this all-natural ingredient has the ability to reduce
joint and muscle problems. This can be very beneficial in your longer and
more stressful races.
Step
#4:
A special, water soluble powder with High Potency Vitamins, Minerals and
Trace Mineral supplement as well as electrolytes. Many of our pigeon
grains are now grown on soils that have reduced minerals and trace
minerals. Our product provides what depleted soils cannot. We have not
found a better, more usable or a more complete source of these
ingredients.
While
we use a probiotic that has the ability to lower the Ph in the birds
digestive system and we supplement it with an all natural human-grade
acidifier, we still recommend that you use a tablespoon of apple cider
vinegar in the birds drinking water. Some of the pathogens or diseases
that attack our birds cannot live in this slightly acidic environment and
the vinegar has other good qualities. Please note, except for the
suggested vinegar, everything in this product and program is in the Blend.
Nothing is included that has to be mixed into the water. It's a complete
package. You never have anything else to buy.
There
are other ingredients in our product that must remain unnamed. Please rest
assured we use only the highest quality ingredients available and that we
test our probiotics regularly to assure that every package shipped is
fully active. We use the Healthy Pigeons Blend daily on our own birds and
they are a picture of health.
