These birds all flew a great series! Congradulations to all !
The Nebraska/Iowa connect had two of the 3 birds on the 1st drop on a very tough 300 mile race. Great job
to them and we enjoyed all those who attended the race . We had a great time!!! See you next year!
We will mail checks out by the end of the week. Please call Tammy and give her all your information as soon
as you can to keep any delays at bay.
Hello all flyers. It was a tough 300 with east wind but we got birds in good time. They are still coming in so we will post
now and again later today or in the morning. Congratulations to Bill Hatcher for his winning H.P bird and winner of this years truck race.
We had a delay because of a 3 way tie with 3 birds having 9 points after the 1st drop hit yesterday. We had to leave the clock
in the loft to get the trapping order for two of those birds for the 4th race. We have other tie's with 8 points that we have to figure
so bare with us. There was a rumor started that the birds were loaded at 10:00 am yesterday and went without water all day.
THAT IS NOT TRUE. Yes, we scanned all the birds yesterday morning inside the loft and left them in the loft all day with food and
water. They loaded themselves as we have always done to avoid stress on the birds. This was done 10 minutes before dark.
They rested all day in the loft as always. They were released 7 minutes after official sunrise Sunday morning with temps of 34 degrees.
There have been 3 tough races this weekend. Why? I wish we knew. Enough said, but congratulations to all the birds that flew
this series and certainly a fine job for those birds and breeders that had the top pigeons.

WE NOW HAVE 188 BIRDS HOME OF 191 SHIPPED
Sunday looks like a 10-15 mph headwind race.
Today was a great day to fly birds. The weather Gods blessed us . The birds came fast and many came from the South which
means they passed the loft! We expected that on such a fast race but the good news is most all the birds are home. We are only
out 3 birds!!! The 300 mile race will be this SUNDAY, Oct 28th and we hope you can come see us. We will load the birds Saturday night 10/27/07 at 6:30 pm. We will be
serving Donuts and coffee for Breakfast and a big lunch for those Attending. Please give us an email or call
to let us know if you are planning to attend so we know how much food to get! Come see the World of Wings.
We would enjoy meeting you. Email worldofwings@sbcglobal.net or call 405-250-7078.
Great Race!!!! Congratulations to the winners!!!!!

THEIR OFF and FLYING
Birds went up at 8:00 Clear Sky, light North /N West wind at 6 Mph at 200 miles. At the loft the conditions are the same.
The winds will pick up later from the North/NW but should remain under 15 Mph by the time the birds arrive.
The hauler said it was the best release he has seen thus far. The birds made a couple of turns and headed south
in less than a minute. Lets hope for a good one!!!! We will post results later today. Good luck to all!!!!!
NEW UPDATE 10/22/07 ***** PLEASE READ*****
THE RACE IS ON !!!!!! THE WEATHER LOOKS LIKE A GO FOR TOMORROW
Sorry everyone, the weather forecast changed and it looks as if we can get a good race in Tuesday 10/23/07
The birds were loaded tonight and the entry list will be posted on the entry page for the 200. This will put us back on schedule
for the 300 mile race which will now be flown on SUNDAY providing we do get the birds up in the morning. The winds will
not be near as strong as they thought but the rain may back up into Oklahoma on Wed or Thursday so this is our best shot.
Birds should go up at 8:00am
Thanks for understanding!

HELLO Everyone 150 Mile update
The race is in the books and the birds did a great job! At this time we have 188 birds home of 203 sent.
The birds hit the loft at 10:56 , earlier than we expected but the wind never got above 10 MPH on their nose
Birds are still coming in so we have the clock still hooked up in the loft. The 1st 5 birds to trap today were
HODGE 6240- CHINA NY 109- ALCA 215- DTL 7260-GALXY 7705. There were 15 on the drop, 16 on
the 2nd drop, 9 on the 3rd drop, (clock missed 1 bird Tentil 103) , and 21 birds on the 4th drop. The birds had to work today but did
a good job coming in small groups one after another from different directions. Good workout and we think this will help
them for the upcoming 200 mile race. It did not hurt the birds but made them work.
We think we will end up with most of the birds home by the end of the day.

Updated 10 /16/07
Birds were released at 7:45 am at 150 miles. Weather was clear , headwind at 3 MPH , pressure 29.92 and rising.
Same here at the loft with patchy dense fog in low areas. This should clear by 9:00 am so should not affect the birds.
K factor is very low for those interested. There is patchy fog in Oklahoma but that should clear before the birds get this far.
The hauler said the birds split into two groups after circling more than normal and finally headed this way but the two groups were a few miles apart.
This is a hard one to call but I think we should have birds around 11:15-11:30. The winds will pick up throughout the
morning so its hard to guess at a speed. It may be a tough 150 miles . They should be spread out on this one. Good luck to all.
Randy
. The Winnerscupusa is offering a 400 mile race after their series is over for an additional fee. If any of you would like
us to have a 400 mile race two weeks after the final race please email us at Worldofwings@sbcglobal.net and let us know. We like the idea!
That would be a great test for the birds on this coarse! We would take your extended 400 mile entry after the final 300.
We would like to get at least 50 birds at 500.00 per bird and have a trapping order payout of 1st 10,000- 2nd 5,000-3rd 3,000
4th - 2,000- 5th 1,000 and a few 500.00 spots with the World of Wings retaining 10%. This is based on 50 birds. If we get more , the better!
In late November the weather is cool and chances are they would maybe have a tailwind of some sort , but in Oklahoma you never know.
At 500.00 per bird it would allow a very nice payout with your odds being very good with 100 birds or less. If we have a good 300
we could have 100 birds nominated for the 400 mile event which would be a 45,000 in prizes with a 1 in 100 chance to win.
The first race is in the books and went well. The weather was clear blue, calm
and cool at release. Birds went up at 8:00 am. Wind was light at NW at 5MPH
at the loft and clear blue. 6 birds on the drop 1st followed very close by 23 more
just behind them came 75 birds on the 3rd drop. We kept getting group after group
and when we pulled the clock we had nearly 200 birds home of 208. We now have 204
and expect more. Great race! Congratulations to all of you!
