The Gold Band Breeding program was started as a project
to create revenue to support the World of Wings Pigeon Center
( APML )in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Top racing lofts in
the U.S and around the world including Holland, Belgium,
England and South Africa were ask to donate a pair each
from their very best. These breeding pairs were sent to
the World of Wings and their young are used as an incentive
to you to purchase our Gold Bands. Gold bands are sold for
$10.00 each to individuals or clubs who wish to support
the World of Wings. The bands are available in AU or IF
and are GOLD in color and are stamped with the letters
APML.
We might add that both the AU and IF donate these bands
to us each year and they are available January 1st each
year. You may place your order any time prior to that as
you wish. Your name will go on our list in the order that
we receive your money . For each 25 bands you or your club
purchases you will be entitled to a youngster off the pair
of your choice if one is available. If you are late purchasing
your bands there may not be enough birds from a certain
pair to fill your request. We then would try and fill your
order with your second or third choice and etc. If you purchase
100 bands you receive a bonus bird which means that you
get 5 birds. You can only have one youngster from any given
pair no matter how many bands you buy. Our breeders are
certainly bred from some of the very best pigeons you can
obtain anywhere! We send out only mature birds that are
at least three or four months of age so we can insure the
quality of our birds. Usually we mail birds out in October
or November or when it is your time to select you can visit
us and select your own. Here is what is unbeatable about
our program. Not only do you get a top quality young breeder
from one of our 32 World Class breeding pairs but you also

that works. You take our Gold Bands and band your young
pigeons with them and fly them in your own club and or combine.
If you have a bird that you feel has a respective flying
season as a young bird just send us a copy of the race results.
High lite the bird on each race sheet and have them signed
by your race secretary and mail them before the deadline
of Dec 31st. All entries will be figured against each other
and the winner with the best performance young bird with
our Gold Band will win $2000.00 CASH ! We also have a cash
prize of $1000.00 for the best Old bird each year that wears
